 One of HUP's first shows will feature the fantastic Carb On Carb from Auckland, who are coming to at Hamilton's Nivara Lounge on Saturday May 30th. Also playing are Ancient Tapes, with more bands to be confirmed. It will be an all ages/licensed show and $10 on the door. As well as this evening show, there will be an all ages afternoon show the same day at Creative Waikato on Alexander Street.

 Waikato Rocks is a voluntary organisation that has been promoting original NZ music for the past five years on Radio and TV. The Waikato Rocks radio show is on FreeFM89.0 Monday nights 9 pm, and their TV show, 'ZEE ROCK' , is on SKY channel 083, TV Central and TV Rotorua twice a week.
On April 18th Waikato Rocks is hosting their first show - on the 18th of April at the Altitude Bar in Hamilton City. Hamilton Creative Communities are sponsoring this event where six Hamilton bands will play - Leave The Dead, Checaine, Sound the Ocean, Dead Beat Boys, The Shift and Deathnir. Hamilton Underground Press has 10 tickets to give away for the show. To enter the draw just email us at [email protected] and we'll pull names from a hat and get back to you. RS On Thursday April 2nd, Ancient Tapes, DateMonthYear, Frankie Daggers and Farizone are playing at Nivara Lounge to raise funds for a very worthwhile cause. All funds from MUSIC FOR MEXICO will go towards Meg and Andy's visit to the slums of Mexico to help families out of the dire conditions in which they live.
