Waikato Rocks is a voluntary organisation that has been promoting original NZ music for the past five years on Radio and TV. The Waikato Rocks radio show is on FreeFM89.0 Monday nights 9 pm, and their TV show, ‘ZEE ROCK’ , is on SKY channel 083, TV Central and TV Rotorua twice a week.
On April 18th Waikato Rocks is hosting their first show – on the 18th of April at the Altitude Bar in Hamilton City. Hamilton Creative Communities are sponsoring this event where six Hamilton bands will play – Leave The Dead, Checaine, Sound the Ocean, Dead Beat Boys, The Shift and Deathnir.
